Members & Non Members, Ages 5-10 years

New! Pop Up Classes

Join us for this new series of Enrichment Pop Up classes! These fun, one day classes, are open to Members and Non Members, ages 5-10. Registration is required. Classes are held at the Staenberg Omaha JCC. Unless noted otherwise class minimum is 8 and maximum is 12.

January: Painting
Wednesday, January 29

6:00-7:30 pm

Join us for a relaxing evening of painting, snacks and relaxation. Each participant will get to take home 2 paintings; 1 will be a free paint while the other will be a guided canvas painting.

February: Game Night

Friday, February 21

6:00-8:00 pm

Game on! Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, Just Dance and more! We will spend the night participating in and practicing various video games, and will end the night with a little competition. Snacks will be provided.

March: Book Club

Ages 5-7: Tuesday, March 25

Age 8-10: Thursday, March 27

6:00-7:30 pm

If you have a reader in your home, this is a great opportunity for them. Read the book assigned to your age, and then join us for fun discussions and activities based on the book. For an additional $10, we will order the book for you for pickup at the J. Must be registered before March 1. Please notify Amanda Welsh at awelsh@jccomaha.org if you would like this option.

April: Spa Day

Kids Spa Day is back by popular demand! We know everyone needs to take time for themselves to relax, kids too! Participants at Kids Spa Day will have a chill afternoon making bath bombs, doing face masks, enjoying pedicures, and making tasty snacks.

Updates to Youth Registration Policy

We’ve recently updated some of the terms of our registration policies for Youth programming. School Break Specials, Winter Break Specials, Spring Break Specials, and Kids Night Out programs are subject to the following terms.

• Registrations received 1 week prior to the date of the program will be subject to a $20 late registration fee. There must be at least 8 children registered in order to hold the program. If the minimum is not reached at least 5 days before the program, the program is subject to cancellation.

• Cancellations received more than 1 week in advance of the program will be eligible for a credit on your JCC account.

• Cancellations within 1 week of the program are not eligible for any credit or refund.
