Performing Arts Facilities
In order to create an engaging facility that meets the needs of our community, we have recently undergone major renovations across our campus. Each project was done in accordance with our mission of building and maintaining a vibrant Jewish community, not only for today but for generations to come. We are now excited to announce the completion of our Performing Arts area.
Marlene & Marty Staenberg Arts & Education Corridor
Dance classes are now held in our beautifully renovated dance studios. These fully equipped spaces, located in the Marlene & Marty Staenberg Arts & Education Corridor, feature:
- Sprung dance floors to help prevent injury
- New sound systems
- Barres
- Mirrors
- Large TV’s in the new lobby so parents can observe their dancers
Simon Family Performing Arts Academy
In addition, as part of our growing Simon Family Performing Arts Academy we are proud to also offer
- New studios for piano and music lessons
- New Studio for vocal training
- Dedicated room for the construction and storage of costumes
- Expanded Performing Arts programs
Alan J. Levine Performing Arts Theater
- New seating with improved visibility for the audience
- New acoustical system
- New rigging
- New curtains
- New lighting
- New AV system
- New dressing rooms
- New restrooms (including family restroom)
Linda & Nelson Gordman Black Box Theater
We are also excited to announce the creation of the Linda & Nelson Gordman Black Box Theater, an onstage venue perfect for small audiences.
