The David Keiser and Lillian Keiser Stoms Foundation Education Endowment Fund for Academic Excellence is a merit-based scholarship awarded to a high school senior from the Omaha metropolitan area Jewish community.

  • You must request that an official copy of your high school transcript(s) be sent to the: Jewish Federation of Omaha Foundation, ATTN: Diane Walker, Fund & Scholarship Administrator, 333 South 132 Street, Omaha NE 68154. The transcript(s) must reflect your cumulative GPA from your freshman year through your first semester senior year as well as your SAT and/or ACT scores. ***TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE APPLICATION DEADLINE.***
  • PLEASE ATTACH A COPY OF YOUR CURRENT RESUME. This scholarship award shall be based primarily on scholastic merit. However, as a prerequisite for consideration, the recipient must demonstrate a commitment to the Jewish community. This could include, but is not limited to, active membership in a synagogue youth group, B’nai B’rith youth group, participation in synagogue religious activities, and volunteer work with Jewish institutions such as, but not limited to, the Rose Blumkin Jewish Home, any Jewish school, Jewish Family Service, or Jewish camps. If desired, you may also include additional documentation, not to exceed one page, to further describe how you meet this prerequisite.
